Store Manager

We are looking for a candidate who's goal is to be committed to providing our guest with exceptional service, quality, and value. Cleanliness of the food service area is essential, as well as maintaining the quality and freshness of the food while performing tasks directed by the Production Chef and Corporate Chef. This individual will assist with training, assigning duties and supervision of the kitchen staff during the preparation, cooking and garnishment of food items. He/She assists in the development of new menu offerings, banquet menus and reviews all banquet event orders to ensure all menu items and set-ups are prepared to Standards. The ideal candidate must be innovative, detail-oriented, and a multi-tasker with good oral communication and interpersonal relationship skills.

  • Coordinate daily Front of the House and Back of the House restaurant operations
  • Deliver superior service and maximize customer satisfaction
  • Respond efficiently and accurately to customer complaints
  • Regularly review product quality
  • Organize and supervise shifts
  • Appraise staff performance and provide feedback to improve productivity
  • Estimate future needs for goods, kitchen utensils and cleaning products
  • Ensure compliance with sanitation and safety regulations
  • Manage restaurant’s good image and suggest ways to improve it
  • Control operational costs and identify measures to cut waste
  • Create detailed reports on weekly, monthly and annual revenues and expenses
  • Promote the brand in the local community through word-of-mouth and restaurant events
  • Recommend ways to reach a broader audience (e.g. discounts and social media ads)
  • Train new and current employees on proper customer service practices
  • Implement policies and protocols that will maintain future restaurant operations

Skills Required

  • A deep understanding and love of Indian cuisine
  • A deep understanding of the ingredients necessary to produce Indian cuisine.
  • At least 4 years experience working in commercial kitchen.
  • Extensive food and beverage (F&B) knowledge, with ability to remember and recall ingredients and dishes to inform customers and wait staff
  • Familiarity with restaurant management software, like OpenTable and PeachWorks
  • Ability to work well with people in a team environment
